Introduction – In this module I will be covering my development process in 3D modelling. The software that I am using to make the models is 3DS MAX which is professional software commonly used to make high-end realistic models. I will be making models over the year to implement into my unity projects that I will be making.
What critera do I need to produce?
Assigning Materials and textures |
Scale, transform, subdivide and extrude vertexs, edges and shapes |

Mesh simplification and optimisation (e..g. back face culling, reduction of polys/ vertexes etc.) |

Export and setup of model into game engine |
Basic animation |
Differences in high and low poly modelling |
Demonstration of understanding of why techniques are applied |
Demonstration of choosing correct key techniques for each use case |
